The Ona Wall Light is the result of Avant Mater’s research into bio-based resins made entirely from organic matter and Australian-sourced ingredients. The material’s translucency lends itself to lighting, while natural pigments introduce variations in colour and texture. The resin is cast into moulds and develops a fluid, sculptural form as it dries, creating subtle deformations and a glass-like surface. Ona is available in eight colours, with custom colour combinations available on request. Variations in shape and colour reflect the material’s organic provenance and handmade production.
